Forensics
Forensics is competitive speech and acting. Students compete in a variety of public speaking and acting events at tournaments throughout the state. The team has been the League champions or runners up 10 years in a row, and typically sends many students to State and Nationals.

Amy Shelden
Amy Shelden has recently served as a teaching artist and development consultant for Christian Youth Theater. She has been involved in many CYT productions and classes, serving in directing, stage management, lighting design, and teaching roles. She has also served as a teaching assistant for advanced acting courses at both Wichita State and Newman University. Amy has a B.A. in English Literature from Friends University where she also studied theatre, business, and other performing arts. With experience as an actress, singer, musician, writer, and theatre practitioner, Amy is excited to teaching classes on Theatre Arts, Stagecraft, and Forensics. She specializes in acting, ensemble performance, physical theatre, and collaborative projects.
