Parent TEAM

The Parent TEAM (Parents about Trinity Events And Ministry) works to connect parents with the school through fellowship events, parent education seminars, teacher/staff appreciation efforts, and parent volunteer roles. The Parent TEAM also coordinates support for Trinity families and alumni during times of illness or special needs.

K-8 Parent TEAM Coordinators

The K-8 Parent TEAM’s mission is to connect parents with the school and other Trinity families through community-building events and volunteer opportunities. Their goal is to minister to students and families through prayer and support, while encouraging and partnering with faculty and staff. Dillons Community Rewards program is linked directly to the red Dillons Plus Shopper’s card. Once enrolled, every purchase made at a Dillons store supports Trinity Academy! Click here, to create an account.

This group makes events at Trinity Academy special for parents and students throughout the school year. Special events include:
Mom’s Knight Out
Open House
Hoops and Hospitality

Come join a weekly, one-hour prayer time to bring before the Lord the needs of our students, faculty, and school. The Moms in Prayer group meets every Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the West Gym Mezzanine. The group also coordinates support for Trinity families and alumni who are experiencing illness or other difficulty. Whether the need is meal preparation, yard work, house cleaning, or transportation, the Parent TEAM is ready to serve. Parent TEAM volunteers show appreciation to Trinity Academy staff for their commitment to Christian education. Gestures such as notes of encouragement, treats, and small supplies for the classroom are some of the ways the Parent TEAM supports the staff. They also provide meals during conferences, at Christmas and during spring finals.

Parent volunteers are needed for many Trinity Academy functions. Working at these events is a great way to serve the school and make new friends. Sign-up emails are sent as events draw near. Special events and their chairs include the following:

Outreach Ministry/Adopt A New Family

The Parent TEAM helps new families feel welcome and plugged in right away! Group members are each assigned a new family to reach out to. They help the “adopted” family learn the ropes and get connected to Trinity by attending fellowship events together and answering questions.

The Baking Buddies Committee serves by baking cookies, pies or other treats. Sometimes they provide chips and snacks for student events or occasions.

Parents are invited to get involved in the Parent TEAM.
