Course Description:

    Band is intended to provide students with an opportunity to rehearse and perform in various ensemble and solo settings.  Repertoire will be diverse, but will always strive to give glory to the Lord.  In addition to strengthening instrumental skills, students will also study written and aural music theory.  The focus of this course is on stewardship of the God-given gifts and talents each student possesses.  Post-graduation, musicians should not be hindered by fear or lack of ability to use their gifts anywhere the Lord may call them. 

Trinity also offers students an opportunity to use their musical talents to serve God in our Praise and Worship Band.  Each week for chapel, a group of students leads the school in a worship service.  Students do not have to be in Band class to be a part of the Worship Team.  They do, however, get to school early on Thursdays to practice!
