Dear Prospective Students and
Families
We are thrilled by your interest in
Trinity Academy! As you make your decision for high school, we ask
that you would give us the opportunity to have you see what God is doing
at Trinity. We have an active "shadowing" program where you can
spend the day with us, attend classes and chapel and ask questions of
students. We would also encourage you to tour our beautiful facility
to gain a better understanding of how far God has taken Trinity in just 11
years of existence. We believe that Isaiah 26:12 is true,
"Lord...all that we have accomplished you have done for us." To
shadow or tour Trinity Academy, please call Mrs. Amy Bankston, Admissions
Coordinator, at (316) 634-0909.
Admission Requirements
SPIRITUAL: It is required that a student and
one of the parents have made a profession of faith in Christ. The student
and parents should understand and affirm agreement with the Trinity
Academy Mission Statement. Letters of reference are required from the
student's present school administrator, pastor or youth pastor and a
current teacher,
certifying that the student is active in a local church and that the
student has maintained exemplary conduct.
ACADEMIC: The student is
expected to meet a stipulated level of academic performance based on prior
grades, standardized test scores, and admission testing. Parents will be
asked to request that academic records be sent to Trinity
Academy.
BEHAVIOR: Students abide by a code of conduct requiring discipline,
respect for authority, neatness in physical appearance, courteous and
appropriate speech, abstinence from tobacco, drugs and alcohol, and a
commitment to the use of leisure time which is consistent with Christian
character.
Shadowing
At Trinity Academy, we
love to have shadows! Shadowing is when a prospective student comes
to Trinity for a day and follows a student around to their classes.
This is a great way to see the school and get a feel for the environment.
We provide lunch for our shadows and give them the opportunity to get
their testing out of the way before they go home.
We welcome your
student to come shadow any day that works with your schedule. We also have
several "Shadow Days" where lots of other prospective students will be
here also. If you are interested, please call Amy Bankston at 316-634-0909
to set up a date to shadow. We look forward to showing you around!
