Trinity Academy offers an extensive college preparatory curriculum, characterized by an academic program integrated with Biblical principles.  A full complement of electives and extra-curricular activities is also available.  The college preparatory curriculum is in alignment with the Kansas Board of Regents Scholars Curriculum.  Currently, Trinity offers a two-tiered curriculum.  (See Graduation Requirements, page 13)  Students transferring in as sophomores, juniors, or seniors may have units of Bible waived by the headmaster. Electives are selected from the following: College Concurrent Credit classes - College English, College Physics, Psychology, Pre-calculus, Calculus, College Algebra, College Biology, Economics, College Speech, Government, Ethics and Splashing in the Platte.  Additional electives available are Art 1/2/3/4, Pottery, Business, Ladies' Ensemble, Madrigals, Web-page Design, Desktop Publishing, Drama 1/2/3/4, Economics, Band, Journalism (newspaper and yearbook), Spanish 1/2/3/4, Sociology, Creative Writing and Debate/Forensics.  Driver's Education is possible through an outside agency.  Please click here for a comprehensive overview of each class offered by Trinity Academy.

Concurrent Credit
Several classes offer college credit through local colleges and universities to qualified juniors and seniors.  Students pay the tuition costs directly to the college offering the credit. The classes are taught at Trinity by Trinity faculty.  Students must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average to be eligible to take classes for concurrent credit.

Homework
The amount of homework assigned is appropriate for a college-preparatory school. Depending on the difficulty of the class and student readiness, homework requirements may total ten to fifteen hours each week, depending on the student's usage of EXCEL and classroom study opportunities.

Grading Scale
All grades in the core academic curriculum are reported in percentages. Letter-grade equivalents are provided as follows for parent and college/university transcripts:
                              A = 90-100       B = 80-89       C = 70-79       D = 65-69
Grades are not weighted and students are unranked.
